inviting feel to it. It's open spaces free the soul, it's silence embraces
it, and it's natural beauty touches one's heart. Those
who search stillness and nature will be caught in it's loving grasp...
But it's history isn't quite as untroubled. In it's quest to occupy and
control, humankind has spilled it's blood here too...Let us go now and learn
from the mistakes of the past.We look forward to welcoming you to Namibia and Sandfontein, an area of open
spaces, trillions of stars and absolute silence. |

Participants
We
are looking for up to 10 guests to join us for this project of a
lifetime. Sandfontein Lodge has four chalets accomodating two people each,
on top of that the main lodge also has an en-suite double room.
There is no specific level of fitness which is required for
this tour, but a certain willingness to play a part in the organising of
daily excursions and the weapon's cache expedition would make this tour very
interesting for all involved.
Price
This once off trip requires special planning and preparation. Our
destination is remote and supplies are scarce, yet Sandfontein offers a very
comfortable and luxurious base. With a respected historian
who's been flown in from Germany by our side to
pass on his knowledge, and the desert-like natural surroundings, this will
make for a true African adventure.

Included
Everything has been included in this tour to make it as comfortable and luxurious as
possible. You literally just need to arrive at Johannesburg airport.
- A respected historian flown in from
Germany to act as our guide on the battlefield tours.
- A return flight between Johannesburg and Upington on
South African Airways.
- Accomodation and activities on Sandfontein
are of a high luxury standard.
- Accomodation in Upington will be in a personally selected luxury guesthouse lining the Orange River.
- All food and beverages included (within
limits on strong alcoholic beverages).
- All transport, mainly in 4x4 vehicles.
- Extra activities on Sandfontein such as canoeing, horseriding, 4x4'ing, game-viewing etc.
- All entrance fees.
- Third party insurance.
